Nghe nhạc của Secret Garden, bạn sẽ được dẫn dắt tới 1 thế giới cổ tích, 1 thế giới nhạc không lời nhưng chứa đựng trong nó biết bao nhiều cảm xúc mà nếu gượng ép phát ra câu thành chữ thì không thể nào diễn đạt được hết cái hay cái đẹp, sự bay bổng cũng như sự thăng hoa về cung bậc cảm xúc theo những cách rất riêng, đặt trong từng hoàn cảnh cụ thể. Đến với Secret Garden, bạn sẽ lạc vào 1 khu vườn bí ẩn, với cỏ cây hoa lá tất cả đều được vẽ nên bởi 1 thứ âm thanh đầy màu sắc và lấp lánh hương thơm, 1 thế giới tinh thần thư thái và ý vị.
Nhóm được thành lập từ năm 1994, gồm 2 thành viên chính.Thành viên nam là Rolf Lovland chơi piano và được biết đến là 1 nhà soạn nhạc xuất sắc nhất của Nauy thập niên 80 khi dành giải quán quân cho cuộc thi Eurovision 1985. Thành viên nữ là Fionnuala Sherry, người Ireland, chơi violin từ năm lên 8 tuổi. Secret Garden đã bán ra được hơn 3 triệu album trên khắp thế giới và dành được giải thưởng Eurovision Song Contest năm 1995 tại Thụy Sĩ với bản Nocturne :X.

Trong dòng nhạc NewAge, Secret Garden được nhắc đến như 1 huyền thoại. Album đầu tay của nhóm là "Songs From A Secret Garden" (1995) đã bán được hơn 1 triệu bản, đĩa này đã được giải Bạch Kim ở Norway và Nam Triều Tiên và đứng vững trên Billboard NewAge Chart trong 101 tuần liền (thật kinh khủng ). Album tiếp theo, "Wild Stones" (1997) cũng nằm trong top ten Billboard NewAge Chart . Lần lượt các album sau đó "Dawn of a new century "(1999), "Once in a red moon "(2002) "Earthsongs" (2005), "Inside I'm Singing" (2007) cũng thành công trên toàn thế giới và đem lại tên tuổi lẫy lừng cho Secret Garden.
Nhắc đến Secret Garden, không thể không nhắc tới bài hát nổi tiếng nhất của họ "You raise my Up", biểu diễn đầu tiên bởi Brian Kennedy, và sau này có hàng trăm ca sĩ nổi tiếng đã thể hiện lại nó như: Josh Groban :X:X:X, Westlife, Il Dilvo, Russell Waston, Sissell...
Sau đây sẽ là đủ bộ 7 album của Secret mà 6 trong số đó là mình được bà chị tặng, đĩa "Inside I'm Singing" đang rất thèm khát, bạn nào có điều kiện ở nước ngoài mà sắp về Hà Nội, mua hộ bạn được không :) tiền nong thanh toán đầy đủ và 1 hôm chè nước :X:X:X. Thực ra là vẫn thiếu cái "Dreamcatcher" (2004) tái phát hành ở Australia của album cùng tên "Dreamcatcher" đã phát hành năm 2001 trước đó với 9 trac đầu giống hết, thêm 11 track tổng hợp mà các bạn có thể tìm thấy trong các album trước.
